Again this year, CCDS members gathered the highest quality blooms from their gardens, and set out for the Markham show of the Canadian Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society

Horst is renowned for the huge blooms he grows

(I often wonder if he has found a way to pump fertilizer into these plants at about 30p.s.i.)

 The mall has just opened, and the first guests start to appear with their steady stream of cameras, usually after touching the blooms to persuade themselves the exhibits are real flowers.
